Article 26 – December, 2024

Over the last 33 years, the need for footpaths has regularly been brought to our attention via the SpringDale Messenger. Over the last 3 years we have written about the need for and the benefits of footpaths, even more regularly. Early in 2025 there will be an opportunity for the Drysdale Clifton Springs community to work in partnership with City of Greater Geelong to enable this dream to be a reality. Please consider the benefit to the whole community when you participate in the upcoming opportunity.

We also look forward to working with the State Government to help make the access to businesses and facilities on Murradoc Road much safer, with footpaths. After a very productive meeting with Council officers, we now understand this road is still under the remit of State Government. Please help us bring this need to Alison Marchant MP and Gabrielle Williams MP Minister for Public and Active Transport.
